Parent - School communication is very important. I like to keep copies of the following forms inside of student's homework binders.

Class Brochure
I was inspired by Jennifer at First Grade Blue Skies to create a parent brochure. This will be a great communication tool at the beginning of the year, Open House, or to give to new students who transfer throughout the year.

Daily Behavior Guide
Welcome Elementary is proud to be a PBIS school. Our three school-wide expectations are show respect, take responsibility and be ready to learn. At the beginning of the school year, all students received training on these expectations and what their behavior should look like in all areas of the school building. Students receive Star Bucks for
displaying positive behavior and can use them to “buy” items from the Star Buck Station. Ask your child about our school expectations!

Below is the daily behavior guide for our classroom. Students keep a copy of this in the front of their homework binders.

My first post !
Hello friends and parents and welcome to our classroom blog ! As a teacher, I am very passionate about incorporating technology into the classroom. I want my students to be exposed to all of the benefits and amazing learning opportunities that come with the use of technology. With that thought in mind, I have created this classroom blog with the hopes of expanding teacher-parent-student relationships. You will be able to see what's happening in our classroom, communicate with the students, and find resources for any parent or teacher. Again WELCOME on our crazy journey and feel free to visit us anytime.
Daily 5 Posters
If you follow the Daily 5 program in your classroom, here are two documents I created that I had blown up as posters for the students to reference. Even if you are not familiar with Daily 5, these posters might still be useful for you !
